Who We Are
Dominion City History
Dominion City was founded in 1996, under the leadership of Pastor David Ogbueli in a sitting room at #2 Marcus Garvey Street, New Haven Enugu.
The church started at a time when a lot of young people were fed up with orthodox churches because church had become boring. They were looking for a fun church where the messages were practical.
It was at this time that God put a burden and a vision in the heart of Pastor David Ogbueli.
The church began with 6 people. After a few months, it outgrew the sitting room and moved to Garnett Concord Hotel, New Haven, Enugu. A few months later, it also outgrew the hall and moved to Cordial Hotel, New Haven, Enugu.
In 1997, the church moved into an incomplete three-storey building at #95 Chime Avenue, New Haven, Enugu.
The construction of the first church building, which presently serves as the state headquarters in Enugu, began in 2005 and was completed in 2006.
The church in Enugu has since grown with branches all over the city.
Dominion City has its headquarters located in Ajah, Lagos. It has also established churches in all the major cities in Nigeria; with overseas branches in the U.S.A, U.K, Canada, Ukraine, Dubai and Ghana, South Africa, and other nations.
